Best…frosting…ever! I could eat this by the spoonful…luckily I have will power or else I would have by now. This is a great topping for carrot cake, spice cake, etc….believe me, you will NOT be disappointed! Adapted from Allspice Cream Cheese Frosting.
Allspice Cream Cheese Frosting
8 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese, softened
1/3 cup butter, softened
1 1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
4 cups confectioners’ sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 tablespoons milk
In a medium bowl, blend the cream cheese, butter, and allspice. Gradually mix in the confectioners’ sugar, vanilla, and milk until the mixture is spreadable.
